Airtask operate the flight service from Tingwall (just outside Lerwick) to Foula with flights on every day except Sunday during the summer, fewer in winter.

Operate the Foula-based Ferry Service between Foula and Walls on the West coast of Shetland. The ferry departs Foula at 09:30 and departs Walls at 13:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and with additional Saturday sailings between May & September.
Travellers obtain the best results by heeding local advice, keeping in touch with transport providers, staying abreast of weather forecasts, and by adopting a flexible approach to travel to Foula. Fog does not prevent the ferry, but it can cause problems for flights. Certain wind directions and speeds favour flying. In inclement conditions local people travel on whatever transport is available.
